17 DEGREES AIN'T NOTHING examines the issue of homelessness in Atlanta through discussions with the individuals living it. The film sets this story of five people in the context of a global look at abstract ideas of economy and recession and how these forces impact real people. This project challenges assumptions of how homeless people live and feel and in offering a glimpse into their lives gives us a new perspective on our own.
